Do you offer residential lift-gate service
Yes. For residential deliveries, we coordinate lift-gate service to ensure your tile is safely lowered from the truck to the ground.
Whether you are receiving a local delivery from our Wayne Tile fleet or a nationwide shipment via an LTL carrier, here is what you can expect:
- Curbside Delivery: Our lift-gate service provides "curbside" delivery. This means the driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the end of your driveway or the curb.
- Safety & Equipment: The driver will use a pallet jack to move the material to a flat, level surface such as a driveway or garage. Please note: Our drivers cannot move material over grass, gravel, or up/down stairs, and we do not provide in-home delivery.
- Site Preparation: Please ensure the delivery area is clear of vehicles and obstacles. For local deliveries, our team will utilize software to notify you of the estimated time of arrival via text and email.
Tile is heavy! A single pallet can weigh over 2,000 lbs. We recommend having your contractor or a few extra sets of hands available on delivery day to move the individual boxes from the pallet into your home or job site.
